Best Practice For Improving Your Business

Best practice for improving your business

FRAMECAD is always looking for more ways to support its customers. We offer a range of
training packages to enable you to have the skills and knowledge to get the best out of your systems, your factory and your staff.

These include design and software training, fabrication and framing training, through to in-depth onsite and construction management training.
One of these valuable training packages is our Best Practice module that teaches your team the most efficient way to run your factory. This will optimise your business and increase factory output delivering improved efficiency.

The Best Practice module offers a complete training programme to teach your team to produce framing components in the most productive way and at the optimum speed. We also teach your team the techniques required to assemble framing and build on site, using actual project materials. One of our qualified trainers can be available on site for as long you need to achieve maximum effectiveness. Training can be customised to your specific requirements.

It all begins with the trainer teaching you the best way to set up your factory, in order to have an optimised factory. Too execute the module successfully, you are asked to ensure that all equipment specified by FRAMECAD is available and in stock before the trainer arrives on site, including steel coil stock.

When the FRAMECAD trainer arrives on site the training can commence straight away. Your staff will be trained to use the Framecad equipment and a range of useful product including run-out tables. This is done just to show how easy it is to operate the equipment and assemble with the Framecad system.

Once the equipment training is complete, the files for customer building projects can be loaded into the equipment and production can begin.

From Production, the FRAMECAD trainer will go on-site together with your staff and start the build process with together. The training process is complete only when your staff are confident to continue on their own. Should additional time be required, this can be organised separately.

One of our skilled trainers who teach the Best Practice course is Peter Horner, a qualified builder with more than 30 years’ experience.  Peter has delivered the “Best Practice” training module world-wide, including to companies such as BîldTek in Cost Rica. BîldTek is the enterprise behind Costa Rica’s first standalone steel frame manufacturing plant. Peter was able to guide BîldTek through the process of familiarising their engineers with light gauge steel framing (LGSF), in a country where concrete is traditionally used. BîldTek were very impressed with the speed and accuracy of the build and on several occasions noted on the excellent progress. Comparison was quickly drawn with a similar project using traditional methods which had already been 3 months in progress.  The LGSF method showed to be up to 10 times faster.
